L arry Breslin began 2006 by finishing this unique parlor guitar.
This very personal instrument was commissioned by Nessa Marquez, an artist based in Denver.
And now for something completely different!
Where do I begin?
Nessa's commission is very unique, borrowing from classical, flamenco and more traditional parlor guitar design.
The top is made of redwood; the back and sides are pear wood.
The peg head is flamenco all the way.
Following palor form, the instrument is decorated heavily using various inlays, including gold leaf and inverted relief; Larry's finish work is wonderful!
